Associate Designer

My professional career began in art education upon receiving my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from The Ohio State University. Growing up, I always had a deep love for architecture and interior design. After some years of teaching, these interests only increased, and I started my own firm. I successfully managed that over the last few years and now I am excited to work with an excellent team and grow in my design journey at Grand Design Group.

One of my favorite things about interior design is getting to know each client’s unique perspective and identifying the pieces of their interior design puzzle. Both form and function are critical elements in crafting a successful design. As the application of these principals vary from client to client, each project requires an individual approach – and I absolutely love that about interior design! I am fascinated by color theory with its endless possibilities, and have an instinctive knack for layering styles, silhouettes, and textures.

Outside of the design world, I enjoy traveling, primarily of the hiking and camping variety, with my husband Kevon, three boys, Emmett, Henry and Thatcher, and our very energetic Australian shepherd puppy. I also love a good book, and sharing a meal with family and friends.
